Hey all. Just wanted to give a quick update ~48 hours post surgery

the good:

– MRI and scans came back with great results and confirmed that the neurosurgeon removed about 95% of the tumor in total.  We’re praying this means she done with surgeries for a while and they can attack the remaining tumor with alternative means. Pray the remaining tumor doesn’t grow at a rate that we’ve seen over the past few weeks.
– Michelle’s up walking the halls of Hotel Hoag. She did some stairs today as well.

In my professional opinion she’s way ahead of the curve and doing great.

She has been complaining about her eyes being “fuzzy”. She’s had difficulty reading and why she hasn’t been able to respond to all the outpouring of love she’s received. Please pray that this is just a part of the recovery and that she gets her full sight back here soon.

    PRAISE THE LORD!!!! Music to our ears! Thanks Chad for the great update. Michelle and your entire family are being held up in prayer by so many! I’ve never met Michelle personally and have only texted with her. We have the same surgeon as I was at Hotel Hoag in 2019. Give her our love and let her know we continue to pray for all of you! Hope we can meet in person one of these days!

    Thank you for the update. We are praying for a speedy and full recovery. We are praying for pain management. We are beyond thrilled that the surgery was a success. We have been thinking of Michelle and the entire family.

    Hi!!! I am friends with Kim McManus and she passed along your info. I have a brain tumor as well, had surgery, removed it all and now it’s back. We have different tumors and in different locations though. After reading through your blog, even though you didn’t mention names….I saw a pic of the handsome Dr. Louis! That’s my dr as well!!!! And I love “Hotel Hoag” which is also what I call it!!!! I am praying for you and was just thinking and praying for you and thought I’d look to see if there was an update!
