  • Day 12

    Day 12

Thankful for lifes’ greater mysteries. I.E. People who wear flip flops with socks. Ouch?
Why is my linea negra crooked? Since when did fannie packs become legal?
  • Day 11

I am thankful for our freedom in this country. We have so many priviledges and freedoms as a result of the sacrifice and hard work of our military/ veterans. Thank you people for laying your necks on the line so we can live a life without fear of oppression. Thankful for a sovereign God who has allowed us to have these freedoms.

  • Day 10

    Day 10

I am thankful for where we live and the the life God has given us. His grace has covered us beyond measure. This picture was taken outside my home, ya-right, I mean someone else’s shabby little villa, last January. That is in, it’s the middle of winter, there should be frost, let’s go make snow angels, January. We live in a pretty wonderful part of the country, and manage to feel safe and are completely blessed to be able to call this county home. Thank you Lord for allowing us to dwell in this spot and not somewhere where there are big bugs or wierd animals/ people loitering in our personal space.

  • Day 9

Just as an FYI: these are in no particular order of importance. I have every intention of keeping it real up in here. Thankful for my 2 big banana boat feet. They are good feet that have carried me 29 years strong. They help me run, walk and workout like a crazy person when I am not gestating. When I look at them, they remind me I am strong and while they look a little haggard, and bumpy, they are good feet who haven’t failed me. Thank you Lord, for my feet who have taken me so far and will continue to help me walk through this life in Your ways.

  • Day 8 of Month of thankfulness…

Day 8 of Month of thankfulness…

I am going to *try* to do something every day in November. Try is the key word;)
Do you like how I jump in on day 8? Me too. Did you expect any different?

I am deeply thankful for my marriage. Not because it is better than yours or because there is fireworks every night, b/c I don’t know about your marriage, and I am no fan of fireworks.….but because God has used that relationship over any other to grow me in so many ways. And through submitting to Him, He has blessed me beyond measure, and given me a husband I could have never painted in a thousand years. God has mercifully restored us both, and I am so grateful I get to share this walk with my loving, sweet, super handsome, funny, and encouraging Big Stink.
