In fact, I was made aware hour 1 of the trip that this favorite creepy mascot/ statue/ idol would be stuffed in a backpack, carried and photographed at every magical spot Italy had to offer. Fantastic. Being the dramatic submissive wife everyone knows me to be, I of course did not kick and scream and make outrageous gestures at every photo op. 5 years later, this is the first time we have shown these amazing gems to anyone. Consider yourselves blessed.
Could thing have fallen in? Nope. (don’t think I wasn’t huffing and puffing). It even teetered on that rock. And survived.
