Psalm 28. Open your Bible and read it. Or google it.
Blessed be the Lord!
For He has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy.
The Lord is my strength and my shield;
In Him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
My heart exults and with my song I give thanks to Him.
Psalm 28:7
This verse beats with my heart. How true this is many times over. Once we turn our lives over to our Savior, we are promised trials and tribulation. A test of faith? Absolutely. The old testament is littered with examples. I have had my share over the last few years and while these moments in time are not fully appreciated in their midst, hindsight screams thankfulness for each test. We serve a God worth trusting, and I am learning the “help” comes after the “trust”. Thank you God for your merciful nature and perfectly TRUE Word.
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God will stand forever.
Isaiah 40:8
