Covet away…

Well today is Good Friday. A somber day of gratitude. Usually busy, filled with Eggstravaganza’s, Church service and Easter prep. The busyness of this day seems to always get in the way of the purpose of this day, of why we acknowledge it.

So I will flash back to Jesus’ work on the cross for me; a sinner. A major transgressor, with too many bad marks by my name to even begin a count. I am so deeply moved and overwhelmed when I think of the burden He carried and obedience He showed knowing how painful and humiliating the day was going to be. When I really stop and think about what that must have been like-I am even more broken for the sin in this world. And even more thankful. If that is possible.
All to Him I owe…Sin had left a crimson stain and He washed it white as snow.

At my best friends wedding. I cried more before, during, and after than at/ for anyone’s. Including my own.
