A psalm for thought
Psalm 28. Open your Bible and read it. Or google it.
Blessed be the Lord!
For He has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy.
The Lord is my strength and my shield;
In Him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
My heart exults and with my song I give thanks to Him.
Psalm 28:7This verse beats with my heart. How true this is many times over. Once we turn our lives over to our Savior, we are promised trials and tribulation. A test of faith? Absolutely. The old testament is littered with examples. I have had my share over the last few years and while these moments in time are not fully appreciated in their midst, hindsight screams thankfulness for each test. We serve a God worth trusting, and I am learning the “help” comes after the “trust”. Thank you God for your merciful nature and perfectly TRUE Word.
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God will stand forever.

Happy Mothers Day
These people are the reason I get to partake in this AMAZINGLY awesome day:)Little StinkChuggasWeemanThank you sweet children for making my job such a JOY. (except for when you ignore me and do silly things like go hunting for black widows in our garage.) These past 4.5 years have been the best gift of my life. I love you guys!Happy Mother’s Day to our sweet, wonderful, out of this world amazing moms! We love you and are SO blessed to call you ours. Thank you Lord for giving us these women to guide us, love us and instruct us on how we ought to live. And mama’s : We LOVE you more than words. This past year has made us appreciate you in a whole new light. We are so grateful for all the sacrifices you made to help us in the 400 different ways you did. Mwah!To the other mommies reading this blog, you rock! Unless you lock your kids in closets and are wierdos. Then you should probably find another blog. But to my sweet mommy friends, I am so thankful to share this season, (and complain), grow and learn with you. Big hugs to the mommies. -

A Pinterest Story-part 1
So, there is this website. You might have heard about it- pinterest. We have been dating for about a year now, so I finally decided to commit to testing her out. The first 2 step recipe was a crash and burn. If you are my facebook friend you probably saw this: Thank you Linda for making it look all fancy!
As you can see, I have some raw talent. SO of course I decided to try another. This is what I created:No, it is not a stool sample. It was supposed to turn out like this:What someone decided to call “pudding”, I will call false advertising. Granted, I did have brain surgery, which is why I only choose recipes with 5 ingredients or less. I will continue to try new recipes in hopes of actually feeding my familia and keep you all posted. I know you are sitting on the edge of your seat waiting! To be continued… -

Flashback Friday
Uhhhhm, I got nothin’ earth shattering. But I do have a pic of our overly romantical honeymoon room.Yep, well done Italy. That would be 2 twin beds we had to shove together to ensure marital bonding. I think you can guess who claimed the 2 pillows of bliss and who faithfully spooned the other, thus ending up in the crack.
